Your 12 day Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi tour begins at Tan Son Nhat airport, where you will arrive and find the driver with your name board. We will take the short drive to the centre of the city, where your hotel awaits. Relax after check-in or explore the city at your leisure.

Night 1: Overnight in hotel in Ho Chi Minh

Have breakfast at your hotel and take the nearly 2-hour drive to the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. We will arrive in the wild jungle, underneath which lies the Cu Chi Tunnels.

After a brief historical introduction to the tunnels, we head below the jungle floor and into the 250km span of the Cu Chi Tunnels. We will look around a segment of the tunnels that includes hospital quarters, classrooms, storage facilities and command centres, all built by local Viet Cong farmers. Afterwards, we return to the jungle and try our best to locate some of the incredibly well-camouflaged trap doors and entrance holes that were the best defence against American and Viet Minh troops during the war.

We will have our lunch at a nearby restaurant before we return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Back in the former capital of South Vietnam, we have a tour of some of the city’s most important sites, starting with the War Remnants Museum. We can learn more about the history of the Vietnam War here before we proceed to either the Museum of Vietnamese History, providing accounts of the evolution of Vietnamese culture, or the Reunification Palace, which is where the war was ended in 1975.

We continue our afternoon tour at the Saigon Central Post Office and neighbouring Notre Dame Cathedral, both of which are constructed in fine French colonial style. The tour finishes after our last stop at Binh Tay Market in Saigon’s vibrant China Town, where we can shop for great deals on souvenirs and south Vietnamese specialities.

Night 2: Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh

Have breakfast at hotel in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to Ben Tre.

On arrival in Hàm Luông pier. Boat on Bến Tre river  exploring  the  lively activities along river as fishing,water transfering…….see  brick making in  handy traditional style by printing and baking. Visite one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Take a walk to family workshop making sleepmats and enjoying some fruits and tea. Riding a motor cart (xe lôi) or bike  on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on realy life and find out  about tropical culture from Peasants. Lunch at Hai Hồ house.

Afternoon –  riding a sampan  along canal, before boat back to Ham Luông pier.

Back to hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Night 3: Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Have breakfast at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Free time until transfer to airport for your flight to Da Nang. Arrive in Da Nang airport, pick up by driver and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Free time in Hoi An. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Night 4: Overnight in Hoi An

Today, you will have the whole day to explore Hoi An town on your own.

Night 7: Overnight in Ha Noi

8:00AM, pick up at your hotel and head out for Ninh Binh (2 hours driving). There is a beautiful roadside scenery on the way. Arriving in Ninh Binh city, first pay a visit to Hoa Lu – the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam, visit the two temples: Temple of King Dinh and King Le, admire the unique architecture from ancient times.

Continue to Tam Coc and have lunch at a nice restaurant with many local delicacies. Then boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (2.5 hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, a very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.

Time permits, you can also visit Bich Dong pagoda nearby and climb up the mountain to have a wonderful perspective view of the Bich Dong and Tam Coc. Return to Hanoi late afternoon.

Night 8: Overnight in Ha Noi

Our guide and car will pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi and depart for Tuan Chau Island, stopping over for the rest on the way. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbour, you will get on the cruise and enjoy the welcome drink. Then, starts a journey to discover the World Heritage Site. Along the way, take photos when cruising through Halong Bay with the complex of stunning limestone islands, including Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and Thumb Rock. Have a delicious buffet lunch with various dishes, including fresh Quang Ninh seafood and traditional Vietnamese food.

After lunch, stop at Bo Hon Island. Our tour guide will take you to Sung Sot Cave, also known as Surprising Cave, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. You will step stones crossing the greeny forest canopy to conquer the cave. Next, head to Luon Cave. Here, enjoy your great time to heat up with kayaking. After that, you will return to the cruise and be ready for our Sunset Party. When dusk slowly falls, you will be served an afternoon tea party on the sundeck or in the Jacuzzi with the best bay views.

At night, rest and have dinner in a peaceful and romantic atmosphere on the bay.

Night 9: Overnight on cruise

Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, enjoying the serene surroundings of Halong Bay as the sun rises. After a light breakfast, you can explore by kayak or take a traditional bamboo boat rowed by locals. Return to the cruise, check out from your cabin, and enjoy a hearty brunch while cruising back to the port. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor. Bus will be waiting to transfer you back to Hanoi.
