At 18.30, our tour guide will welcome you at your hotel lobby, then start walking tour in old quarter “36 streets” to visit some famous and specialized- food families or stalls/ local restaurants, shops where they run their business everyday, certainly you will watch and taste some particular dishes (We can customize vegetarian food or special requirement)

The old quarter in Hanoi is over one thousand years old and today retains much of the old flavor that made the area special in earlier times, each street was the exclusive domain of one trade (guilds) so there are whole streets of blacksmiths, silver shops, paper shops, headstone makers and more. Originally there were just 36 streets in the old quarter but today there are more than 50 streets. Although many of the streets are short, and the area is rather compact,

It is very difficult to find some local food on your own in hidden alleys or sidewalks, certainly the best way to make it easy is joining with us taking part in this special tour to learn about Vietnamese cuisine, culture, people and language.

After all, Food on Foot will give you an unique experience to try the foods of the local Hanoi people, We ensure the food is handled hygienically and provide a comfortable venue for the tastings. The benefit also goes back to the vendors or restaurants/ families as we buy directly from them.

Night 2: Overnight in Hotel Hanoi

06:30 – 7.00: Pick up from the hotel, get on big bus and depart for Sapa

13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’Mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People. 

Welcome drink and itinerary briefing, enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes

14.15: A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. You approach Ta Van village where Dzay Ethnic People inhabits in late afternoon. 

Trekking distance is about 9 kms and it lasts for 3.5 hours

17.45: Check in homestay; get to know the family of Dzay People. Spend time to enjoy the mountain life on Sunset. You may attend cooking local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner in peace.

In the evening, you can join the local bar nearby with music and socialize with other tourists then overnight at Homestay in Ta Van Village.

Night 3: Overnight at homestay

8.00: Have breakfast prepared by the family and start a new day with more interesting trek.

8.45: Keep walking to the rice paddies where you have a nice photo session of the amazing surrounding landscapes; a trek through the bamboo forest; stop to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai village – home of red Dzao People.

11.00: Trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to main road, bus picks you up to come back Sapa Town.

Trekking distance is about 4 kms and it lasts for 2 hours

12.00 – 14.00: Welcome drink at hotel, have lunch with delicious Vietnamese dishes and check in procedures.

Free time in Sapa in afternoon. Dinner by your own

Night 4: Overnight in hotel in Sapa

7.30 – 11.30: Have breakfast at hotel and free times to discover Sapa town by yourself.

12.00: Check out and clear all the bills.

Relax and leisure on your own, have shower in the public bathroom in the hotel if you want.

14.30: Transfer to bus office to take the bus to Hanoi

21.00: Reach Hanoi, stop at bus stop. We will take taxi to transfer back to your hotel

Night 5: Overnight in hotel in Hanoi

7.30-8:00: Picking up from your Hotel in Hanoi old quarter.

08:30: Starting drive to Ninh Binh Province

10:00: Arriving at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

10:15: Visiting King Dinh and King Le’s temples.

11:30: Arriving in Tam Coc Wharf.

11:45: Having buffet lunch with Vietnamese Cuisine.

13:00: Getting on Sampan boats through caves and visiting countryside landscape

15:00: Back to Tam Coc Wharf to chill out.

15:15: Biking on country road around the village

Night 6: Overnight in hotel in Ninh Binh

Have breakfast at your hotel.

7:00-7:30am: Our driver pick you up at your hotel in Ninh Binh then transfer to Cruise Port

12:00 – 12:30 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard.

12:30: Check in your cabin. Time to refresh.

13:00: Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay

14:00: Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

15:30 visit the Titop Island – swimming Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.

18:00: Enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck.

19:00 Dinner is served.

20:00 Socialize with other guests or just laze around

Please bring your passport and you can leave your big bags at the hotel

Night 7: Overnight on board

6:30 – 6:45 Do Tai Chi or a photo hunt

7:00 Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.

8:00 Kayaking to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there.

9:00 We board the cruise again. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in luggage store.

10:00 Join in the Cooking Class, teaching you how to make our specifically (Spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.

11: 30 – 12:00 Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina.

17:00 Arrival back at your hotel in Hanoi

Night 8: Overnight in hotel in Ha Noi

Breakfast at the hotel. then free and easy until our driver comes and drops off you to the airport for your next flight. Trip ends
