Hanoi – Halong – Sapa are highlights of The North of Vietnam. Night 1: Overnight in hotel in Ha Noi

06:30 – 7.00: Pick up from the hotel, get on big bus and depart for Sapa
13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.
The tour guide will be waiting for you at Bus station. Then, please follow the guide to go to hotel. Welcome drink and itinerary briefing
Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures
14.30: A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
Trekking distance is about 3.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours
17.00: Come back to Sapa Town.
Night 2: Overnight in hotel in Sapa town.

08:30: Meet our guide and have short transfer to Fansipan Cable Car Station. The Fansipan cable car holds the Guinness World Record as the world’s longest.
From the top you can hopefully enjoy the marvelous view of whole Sapa valley and the bordering mountain areas.
Back at Sapa town, our guide will show you around the town, where you could visit the old Catholic Church, Sapa Museum or walk around Sapa market.
14.30: Transfer to bus office to take bus back to Hanoi
21.00 – 21.30: Arrive in Ha Noi.
Night 3: Overnight in hotel in Hanoi

7:45-8:15am: Our guide will meet you at your hotel. The shuttle bus or private car pick up. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta.
12:00 – 12:30 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard.
12:30: Check in your cabin. Time to refresh.
13:00: Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay
14:00: Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.
15:30 visit the Titop Island – swimming Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.
18:00: Enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck.
19:00 Dinner is served.
20:00 Socialize with other guests or just laze around

7:00 Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.
8:00 Kayaking to explore around the area
9:00 We board the cruise again. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in luggage store.
10:00 Join in the Cooking Class, teaching you how to make our specifically (Spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.
11: 30 – 12:00 Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina.

Best Way to Explore Northern Vietnam!
I loved every minute of this trip. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the peaceful cruise in Halong Bay, everything was well-organized. The guide in Sapa was kind and knowledgeable. Watching the sunrise over the rice terraces was a dream come true. I wish I had stayed longer!

Loved every second of this trip. The express bus to Sapa was super comfortable, and the Fansipan cable car ride was just breathtaking. Felt like I was on top of the world! Cruise on Halong Bay was peaceful and the seafood meals were to die for. Big thanks to the guide for making everything smooth.

Is the Halong Bay cruise overnight on a private boat, or will I be with other travelers?

Hi Anna! The overnight Halong Bay cruise in this package is part of a shared group cruise, but with a private cabin for each booking. You'll have your own en-suite room, while activities like dining, kayaking, or Tai Chi are shared with other guests on board. If you’re interested in a fully private cruise, we can upgrade the experience upon request!
Do I need to bring warm clothes for Sapa and Fansipan, even though I’m traveling in summer?

Hi Marco! Yes — even in summer, Sapa and especially Fansipan can be quite cool, particularly in the early morning or late evening. The temperature at the top of Fansipan (over 3,100m high) can drop below 15°C. We recommend packing a light jacket or windbreaker, and comfortable walking shoes for the mountain areas.
