This day trip takes you to visit Hanoi vicinity to some handicraft villages that produce the finest craft works exported over the world. The villages specialize in wide variety of crafts from the making of conical (non) hats, ceramic, wood furniture to the production of fine lacquer wares, fine silk clothing… You’ll be amazed by the skill of these artisans, good opportunity to learn about local arts and crafts, or look for an ideal gift or memento of your journey to Vietnam

Begin your day at 8:00 AM with pickup from your Hanoi hotel.
Our first stop is the renowned Van Phuc silk village, a historical center of Vietnamese silk production. Explore vibrant shops filled with silk clothing, accessories, and more, and learn about the intricate silk-making process at a local workshop.
Next, journey to Bat Trang ceramic village, a nearly 1,000-year-old pottery center. Discover the difference between the modern, glazed ceramics and the traditional earthenware, visiting a family workshop to witness firsthand the creation of these unique pieces. You’ll even have the opportunity to try your hand at working with clay!
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the world of Dong Ho folk paintings. Marvel at the artistry of these traditional woodblock prints, crafted using natural materials and colors. If time allows, we’ll visit the nearby But Thap Pagoda, a significant Buddhist site with unique architecture.
The tour concludes around 5:00 PM, returning to your Hanoi hotel. However, this itinerary is flexible. Instead of Dong Ho, you can opt to visit other fascinating craft villages:
