Night 1: Overnight in hotel in Hanoi

7:45-8:15am: Our driver pick you up at hotel and transfer to cruise port.
12:00 – 12:30 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard.
12:30: Check in your cabin. Time to refresh.
13:00: Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay
14:00: Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.
15:30 visit the Titop Island – swimming Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.
18:00: Enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck.
19:00 Dinner is served.
20:00 Socialize with other guests or just laze around

Night 2: Overnight on board

7:00 Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.
8:00 Kayaking to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there.
9:00 We board the cruise again .Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in luggage store.
10:00 Join in the Cooking Class, teaching you how to make our specifically (Spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.
11: 30 – 12:00 Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina.

Night 3: Overnight in hotel in Hanoi

06:30 – 7.00: Pick up from the hotel, get on a bus and depart for Sapa
13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.
The tour guide will be waiting for you at Bus station. Then, please follow the guide to go to hotel
Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures
14.30: A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
Trekking distance is about 3.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours
17.00: Come back to Sapa Town.
Night 4: Overnight in hotel in Sapa town

Have breakfast at hotel and prepare light pack for trekking
9.30: Trek from Sapa to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.
12.30: Picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village
13.30: Heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people.
14.30: Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.
Trekking distance is about 12 kms and it lasts for 4.5 hours
15.00-15:30: The tour guide will take you to the bus stop
21.00: Arrive in Ha Noi.
Night 5: Overnight in hotel in Hanoi

Today, you will have free time to discover Hanoi old quarter until our driver come to transfer you to airport. Taking a flight to Da Nang then check in hotel in Hoi An, free and easy.

Night 8: Overnight in Hoi An
Enjoy breakfast at hotel. You will have some free time until our driver transport to Da Nang airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh and check in hotel. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure, discovering the most active city in Vietnam.
Night 9: Overnight hotel in Ho Chi Minh

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City

07:30: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then start drive to Cu Chi which located 60km from HCM city, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for Original tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.
The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, When Cu Chi was” A Free Target Zone “.
The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants.

We can visit all Vietnam with this trip
We visited from Northern to Southern of Vietnam with Hanoi, Halong bay overnight, Sapa, Hoi An, Mekong Delta and Hochiminh. Hoi An is very nice, we tried a lot of local food. We booked extra village trip by bicycle in Hoi An, that is great.

I loved every part of this tour! Starting in Hanoi with the cruise was a nice soft intro, and the overnight trip to Sapa was absolutely stunning. The trekking was a bit challenging, but so worth it. I appreciated the variety – from peaceful villages in the north to vibrant Hoi An and then learning history at Cu Chi. The group was small and friendly, guides were patient and shared lots of cool facts. Would 100% do this again with my girlfriend.

Surprisingly smooth and well organized
To be honest, I was worried the itinerary would be too tight, but the pace was actually great. Everything was taken care of — hotels, transport, even domestic flights. We had a bit of everything: walking, sightseeing, chilling by the beach. Special shout-out to our Sapa guide, Thanh — she made the trek fun even in the rain. Also appreciated that there was time to explore on our own in Hoi An and Saigon. Highly recommend for those wanting to see both north and south!

Is the trekking in Sapa very challenging? I’m not an experienced hiker.

Will I need to pack different types of clothes for this tour, since it covers North, Central, and South Vietnam?

The North (like Sapa) can be cooler, especially in the early morning or evening, while the Central and Southern regions (Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City) are typically warmer and more humid. Bring light, breathable clothing, but also a light jacket or sweater for cooler areas and transport. Comfortable walking shoes and sun protection are also must-haves!
