Commencing August 15th, Vietnam now offers 90-day e-visas for all nations and regions. Below are key notes to ensure a seamless application process

Individuals without Vietnamese nationality can visit the e-visa online portal provided by the Vietnam Immigration Department at https://www.immigration.gov.vn or the National Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security at https://dichvucong.bocongan.gov.vn/ to apply

Complete details of the journey, encompassing the planned entry date, duration of stay in Vietnam, designated point of entry and exit, as well as the intended temporary residential address within Vietnam, must be furnished.

Within the e-visa application section, non-nationals will choose between a single-entry visa or a multiple-entry one, aligned with the purpose of their visit.

The provided form mandates input from the passport’s data page, with mandatory uploads of images for both the page and the passport photo

Upon receipt of the electronic dossier code from the immigration authority, applicants will be required to make a payment of US$25 each.

Those seeking an e-visa can utilize the dossier code to monitor their application status on the e-visa web portal. The processing time for visa issuance is three business days.

The e-visa is applicable for entry through any of the 29 international checkpoints in Vietnam, including 13 airports. For a comprehensive list of the airports, seaports, and border crossings where the e-visa is recognized.
